MAKING FITNESS FUN

We all know we should do more exercise and be more active, and we all know the various benefits of exercise and physical activity in terms of our physical and mental health, but for many of us, we’re not sure where to start, don’t know how to achieve our goals, have tried something before and didn’t like it or made numerous other excuses as to why it’s not for us. That’s where I can help…
I have a lifelong passion for sport and physical activity, studying Sports Science/Studies at college, playing rugby, hockey, football and cricket at school and college and now coaching an Under 14s Junior football team. I also have over 10 years’ experience of training myself for different purposes, including boxing, long-distance running and marathon-length hikes, as well as for everyday health and wellbeing, using different methods and techniques to suit my different needs over the years. With this passion and experience I’m sure I can find an approach to exercise and fitness that not only works for you and helps you to achieve your goals but is a fun and enjoyable experience for you that helps to develop a similar passion for exercise and makes you want to come back for more! All you need to do is take the first step…
As a fully qualified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, not only would it be my professional responsibility to work with you to help you to achieve your goals and help you to improve your lifestyle and wellbeing, I would also consider it my personal responsibility, travelling the journey with you and supporting you all the way, making sure we had some fun as we go!

I asked Gaz to PT me as I really wanted to get my exercise mojo back after the pandemic. I used to exercise regularly but had lost my way. I’d lost a lot of confidence, had low body image, and no clue where to start to get my enthusiasm back for regular exercise.
Gaz and I chatted about my goals and how personal training would help. We talked about the kind of sessions we’d do and why they would help.
Our PT sessions are always well prepared and thought out. They have been tough, but achievable, and with Gaz’s encouragement I managed to surprise myself and push beyond what I thought I was capable of. Every time I would leave the gym feeling like I’d had a really good hard workout, and on occasion still feel the effects in the morning. To me it’s the sign of a good PT if they push you safely beyond your expectations and Gaz certainly does!  
I found a new love of weights when I had been very cardio focussed in the past, and with Gaz’s help our sessions have given me a good basis to create more challenging gym sessions independently. It really comes across that Gaz is in this business to help people and he’s just happy that clients are enjoying looking after themselves and achieving their goals.
Gaz is a very easy-going guy to be around, non-judgemental and has a good sense of humour. He doesn’t just talk about burpees all session LOL!  He’s good company while he’s pushing you to the max!
I have no hesitation in recommending Gaz Edwards as a Personal Trainer and I hope to have many more tough sessions with Gaz in the future.
